The Tank in Blood in the Water
Starting design work on the BITW Tank. A combination of the French FT-17 and the British Mark 5 rhomboids. Here is a floor plan so far showing the huge front wheel of the FT-17 and an out rigger Sponson of the Mark-5

Your proposition seems to be interesting. I would have done more of less the same thing.
Re: The Tank in Blood in the Water
That 4 foot sponson too big for Taylor, here's the 3 foot sponson:
A meter is 3' 3 & 3/8" thus for small numbers of meters 3.25 feet x meters. The over all size of the tank is 10' x 16' or (((10' or 16') x12inches/foot x 24.5mm/inch)/1000 mm/m) = 3.92m x 4.704m

Re: The Tank in Blood in the Water
Youvcan probably remove the protection above the tracks as mid 20-30 tanks removed them unless they were needed for protection.
I don't see which suspension you use? Torsion bar? Christies?

Re: The Tank in Blood in the Water
Bar like the FT-17 except the bar is longer and more flexable with two sets of springs fore and aft of the Sponsons.
