Wild Rank Speculation
OK based on rank speculation given the following:
1) Kurokawa's attack on the second convoy from India is successful removing:
a) one of the Indian army's two corps is destroyed, take your pic First of Third.
b) total disaster both corps are destroyed.
2) Second Corps on Madagascar i brought to near full stringth with replacements both local recruits and green Great Southern Isle (Australian) troops.
3) Captain Reddy and Walker are on their way back to Baalkpan for repair.
4) In the West Shinya is:
a) moping up the Dominion and can detach troops to help, assume naval replacements and the carriers and extra troops have arrived.
b) beseaging the Dom Capital but worrying about the main part of the Dominion in the Valley of Mexico and cannot detach troops to help.
OK armchair generals have at it!

Re: Wild Rank Speculation
Well, seems logical.
It depend of the whole situation. If Kurokawa would be able to organise attack accurately - airships and cruisers for convoy detection and shadowing, then massive aerial attack and a group of battleships under fighter cover - he would probably be able to get rid of all convoy (unless Alliance commanders would disperce it).

OK I'll start lets take 1-b one corps survives thus two corps in Madagascar, and 4-a Shinya can send troops. My thought is send extra troops across the Atlantic to reinforce the Republic with battle hardened troops putting pressure on the Grik perhaps delaying the invasion of Madagascar.
with 1-a both corps destroyed, and 4-b Shinya cannot send troops the worst case Shinya holds on East and the Alliance sends what they can to Madagascar or pulls out.

Re: Wild Rank Speculation
The cover of Blood in the Water probably shows the attack on the second India Convoy. Taylor Anderson commented on the Carrier in a comment on his Facebook site, “Once again, the art department has been very good about faithfully rendering the sketches I sent them. And the carrier (whichever on[e] it is, is RIGHT)/” led to another possibility, it is a rescue effort from Second Fleet South, or Second Fleet South attacking Zanzibar. The carrier, "whichever one it is," could be one of the Grik BB conversions mentioned in Deadly Shores' first chapter, or one of the two carriers, Salissa or Arracca, of Second Fleet South we know are near Madagascar from Straits of Hell.
I contend it is the convoy and the carrier is one of the BB conversions, but many on Taylor's site agrue it's one of the two Home based carriers. We'll find out next June.
